Meet Kelly Powell
She/Her
Kelly is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with more than 35 years of experience, having worked across the UK, the USA, and Australia in settings ranging from special schools and early intervention government programs to private practice. She spent 7 years lecturing in Paediatrics at Deakin University, and remains deeply committed to staying at the forefront of evidence-based OT practice. Her postgraduate qualifications include DIR Floortime and Sensory Integration, and she is one of only a handful of Australians qualified to present Robyn Gobbel's trauma-informed Big Baffling Behaviours program.
Twenty years ago, Kelly founded Amazing Kids OT, the first OT-only private practice in Geelong.
Outside of work, Kelly loves to travel, read, and spend playful time with her two grandchildren.
