At Amazing Kids OT (AKOT), we believe that when children feel safe, connected, and regulated, they can thrive.

Based in Geelong, we are a private paediatric occupational therapy practice dedicated to helping toddlers, children, and teens build confidence, independence, and joy in everyday life. We know that all behaviour happens for a reason, and that kids do well when they can.

We work in a playful, motivating, and neuro-affirming way, always guided by the latest evidence based practice and by listening to those with lived experience of neurodiversity.

Our therapists partner closely with families to support each child's unique goals, whether at our welcoming clinic or through home, school, kindergarten, and childcare visits.

Our therapy focuses on building skills across areas such as play, self care, sensory processing, emotional regulation, social participation, handwriting, and motor skills.

Our team brings years of experience and advanced training in approaches such as DIR Floor-time, play based therapy, trauma informed practice, interoception, sensory integration, therapeutic listening, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and parent coaching.

We support children with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, developmental coordination disorder, learning difficulties, cerebral palsy, developmental trauma, and anxiety.
