A taste of our holiday groups

Each school holidays, our therapists run small group sessions where children practise communication, problem solving and connection, all through the things they already love. Term 2 is now fully booked, but here is a feel for what’s on offer.

Gaming group

Max 4 children · Nintendo Switch
A fun, supported group where children connect through Nintendo Switch games while practising turn taking, communication, flexible thinking, and managing winning and losing.
Craft group
Fully booked
Max 6 children
A creative, hands on group encouraging creativity, problem solving, imagination and fine motor skills, alongside sharing materials and taking turns with peers.
LEGO play group
Fully booked
Max 5 children · Sensory gym
Children share their creativity and build with peers, supported by an OT to encourage collaboration, sharing resources and developing connection. Held in our sensory gym, open to those without a LEGO interest too.
Dungeons & Dragons

Max 4 children per age group
An age based tabletop adventure encouraging flexible thinking, social skills and collaborative storytelling, run across two parts based on interest and numbers.
Gamemaster training

Max 5 children · One session
For children interested in D&D or tabletop role playing, learning to run their own game. Builds flexible thinking, planning and organising skills, and offers a natural outlet for social rehearsal.
Parent catch up

While groups run
Tea and coffee are available for parents and carers waiting at the clinic, a chance to connect and chat with other families while your child takes part in their group.

All sessions will be held at Amazing Kids OT – 288 Yarra Street.  Sessions will run subject to participant interest and numbers.
